Discounts

What discounts do you offer?

We offer a 10% discount for any Active Duty Military members as well as Golden Buckeye Card holders!

Are your fees negotiable?
Reverend Tonya Duncan feels that money should never be the reason that a couple in love decides not to wed.  If you wish to negotiate any of the fees listed please contact her directly because she always takes your requests under consideration. As long as you are fair – so is she!!

Marriage License

Do I need a marriage license?

Yes, in the state of Ohio a marriage license is required. However, you do not need to be a resident of the state but you are required to get married in the county in which the license is obtained. How do you work with couples to personalize a ceremony?

Wedding ceremonies are developed by working one-on-one with Reverend Tonya Duncan via phone, email and face-to-face consultations.  She will provide an outline for a typical ceremony as well as many samples that are appropriate for each section within the ceremony.  Together, a special ceremony is composed that will reflect the feelings of the couple.  In general, to create your personalized wedding ceremony, we provide you with the following:

  1. An outline of what “typically” is included in a wedding. Example ceremony format.
  2. Several examples for each of the sections in the outline.
  3. You review and choose options for each section.  You could also be inspired by one of the examples and choose to create your own wording in any of the sections.
  4. Once all the areas of the outline have been addressed, Always and Forever Ceremonies, LLC compiles a full draft version of the ceremony.  Sometimes wording is added to ensure the ceremony flows in a logical manner.
  5. You review the draft to ensure you like the additions.  We will work together until the ceremony is written exactly like you want for a truly unique and personable wedding ceremony
How can we personalize our wedding ceremony?

Our mission is to help you create a unique and special ceremony that is personalized to you, the bride and groom. We help you personalize your wedding by providing you with example wedding ceremonies as well as offer you several ceremony enhancements to choose from that can be incorporated into your ceremony.

Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?
Yes, I do have a list or readings available to help with ideas but any reading is welcome since the ceremony is for and about the couple not me. Also, please refer to our ceremony enhancements for ideas to make your ceremony truly unique.
Do you require that we attend premarital counseling ?

No, I do not. I feel that couples have the right to make the decision to wed without my opinion being included. If I am asked I can always share my thoughts but never require my clients to consider my opinion.

What is the difference between civil and religious ceremonies?

Civil ceremonies will have no prayers or religious additions to the service. A couple choosing a civil service may elect to have a favorite poem read.

Ceremony Enhancements

What are ceremony enhancements?

Ceremony Enhancements are mini ceremonies within your wedding ceremony. They are a wonderful way to express your love together and emphasize a specific point that is important to you as a couple.

How much do ceremony enhancements cost?
There is not an additional charge to include any of the Ceremony Enhancements if you have selected The Full Wedding Package, The Vow Renewal Package, or The Commitment Ceremony Package.  And, many couples include more than one Enhancement. However, if you have selected the Elopement Package, the Ceremony Enhancements can be added for an additional $25 each.

Wedding Rehearsals

Do you perform wedding rehearsals?
Yes, I can help ensure your bridal party all knows their roles. I always encourage rehearsals if the ceremony includes children. A rehearsal is a good idea anytime more than just the couple is participating in the ceremony.
What are the benefits of a wedding rehearsal?
Although most people understand in general what is expected of them during your ceremony some of the specific details about your processional and recessional could get confusing.  Rehearsals are also beneficial if you decide to include certain Ceremony Enhancements.  It is very helpful to all participants to discuss the order of the events in those unique ceremonies. If you wish to include children in your ceremony, a rehearsal could really help them out too.  They may take comfort in knowing and practicing their exact role in your special day.
What is the cost of a wedding rehearsal?

Always and Forever Ceremonies charges the following for a wedding rehearsal:

Licking County: $50.00

Local Service Area: $75.00

Our local service area includes anywhere in Coshocton, Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Knox, Muskingum, and Perry counties

Do you require a deposit for a rehearsal?
There is only a one time $50 deposit. If you elect to include a rehearsal with your wedding package only the initial deposit to reserve the ceremony date is required.
